Addiction Rehab | Addiction Treatment
The addiction assessment we use is a biopsychosocial addiction assessment. This type of alcohol and drug assessment incorporates information from a person's biology, psychological position and social setting.
We use this type of addiction assessment, because it is what is used in many alcohol and drug treatment centers. Most online assessments are only about 20 questions, and while they might give you some information, they are not very thorough.
The assessment we use is 75 questions, and when you are finished you receive detailed information about why the questions were asked, what the answers tell us and how they might be interpreted in a alcohol and drug treatment center.
Our assessment can be taken for yourself or for someone you know. If you are taking the assessment for someone else, answer 'no' for all questions where you do not know the answer.
(Sometimes, when taking the assessment for another person, it is necessary to gather more information, or watch for behaviors then re-complete the assessment to see if the results change. But, after completing the assessment you may have a better idea of what to watch for.)
This is designed to be an informational resource, not a final analysis. We provide you with what we believe are the most likely results based on the information you enter. Please, use our test to get a general idea of what goes into assessing alcoholism and substance abuse, not as a final determination of dependency. If you, a loved one, or a friend are struggling with a substance, we highly recommend you visit a local treatment center or alcoholism/substance abuse counselor for a professional assessment.
Remember:
1. We receive no real time information about your use of our addiction assessment, so we will not be able to help in an emergency.
2. You should always enlist professional help when you are concerned about or attempting to treat an addiction.
3. We do not, at any time, receive information about the results of your addiction assessment, those are for you and you alone, so we will not know if you or loved one has an addiction.
