Spirituality vs Religion - Spirituality
Spirituality has to do with a birth of the person into a spiritual relationship with his/her Creator that is a guide to how a person lives their life, both physical and spiritual. All areas of the life whether relationships, career, health and emotions are based on the belief in this relationship.
The spirituality of the relationship is the leader and the person accepts guidance in humility realizing that the Creator is to be exalted and the person is humble as the guidance is accepted. This is a proper relationship between God and a person. The Name of God must be exalted above all others in the person's life to keep away from all false prophecies or teachings of the world. This does not mean you isolate. In fact it gives one courage knowing that the Strength to the guide will not lead to wrong.
The Bible clearly states that God is not willing His precious people suffer or perish or be exploited by others. Being humble does not diminish a person's worth or mean being timid. It actually increases the worth of a person as they realize the Creator of all things is at work for goodness in their life.
Worth can not come from the body alone as it eventually passes away but the Spirit that dwells in this body will live forever. It is basically a choice between eternal life or death both or the earth and in Heaven. It is a proper realization that the Creator is stronger and more sufficient than the person. Just as a young child could not exist without a parent to feed, cloth and shelter it, a person grows independent of their parent and learns that the new parent is spiritual, the Heavenly Father, who is the creator of all originally.
Now this may pose a question about how so much evil is on the earth and how the unjust prosper. This is because some choose to run their own life by standards that have no regard for the spirituality of life, nor the Creator and His plan for them. They will do anything to succeed no matter who they have to step on. It is their choice to rebel against the spiritual being that created them. In the Bible God created everything in the beginning.
Lucifer, a spiritual being, was given a place in God's kingdom but he choose to rebel and thought he was greater than God. This brought his belief and sin and immorality and corruption into the earthly realm. He only has power on the earth over those who give it to him instead of choosing to obey the true Creator God. God will ultimately win through the spirit of Christ but not all will choose to go with God.
To resist the influence of the fallen Lucifer one must be aware of the fact he is present and uses schemes and lies to entice the innocent who are trying to follow God. God says there is an armor of God alone that withholds all the schemes of the devil, who Lucifer became.
The Bible says our fight is not against people but against spiritual powers of evil in high places. This is in Ephesians chapter six for those who would like to avoid the evil influences of the wicked. It is imaginary in the mind but has greater power than all the forces of evil when believed. You could see it as an angel of light, which Michael and Gabriel are and believe they can place you in the perfect place at the perfect time to prosper and avoid accidents. You have to do this daily as the fight between God and evil is real spiritual warfare.
You must fill your mind with the positive spiritual life style and pray constantly to avoid the evil. If you have children you can armor them until they are old enough to understand the principle of the armor being real and not of flesh and blood.
The Bible clearly states, 'that He that dwells in believers of God alone as the Head of their Household will be given a strength that is stronger than flesh and blood.' The message of Jesus if seen correctly was to overcome the original sin of Adam and Eve and give people the capacity to build Eden again on the earth, He resurrected over both Lucifer and the world and those who dwell in Him as the only say to salvation will be given his strength.
The Bible says Jesus came to give us life abundantly not of poverty. The worlds way works for the worldly people and they are often rich on earth, but the cost to them is their soul. To walk over another person and cause intentional harm is to lose ones own soul. This does not mean you do not speak up for yourself. It means if you are wronged, you do your best assertively to get the other to pay amends.
An example would be if you are miss charged at a store instead of saying it is no big deal, you point it out to the cashier and ask the bill to be corrected. You are to stand for what so ever things are just and pure and not go by appearances. If the devil wrongs you the Bible says he will recompense you double for what abuse was done. This means you will be restored double fold what was taken.
Since this war is strong and there are many false spiritual beliefs and few followers of the true spirit you will have to take time daily to dwell in quietness with the Spirit of Truth and ask Him to humbly lead your day in a positive manner. The Bible says to Lean on the Lord (who has overcome the world) and not unto your own understanding. Also do not be ashamed to admit this is the choice you have made. You don't have to convert others or infringe on their rights but you can express and should express your opinion when appropriate. This is a lifestyle not a religion.
